I was introduced to pottery about 5 years ago and found that I loved everything about it - the way the clay felt squishing between my fingers, the smell of a fresh bag of clay, and the thrill when I saw my first wonky pieces out of the kiln. If I'm being honest, my pieces were wonky for a long time!
Fast forward to present day - we built a studio in our basement at home and I consider myself so fortunate to be able to do something I love.
Many years ago, when our kids were little, we brought a new puppy, Bear, into our family. In the beginning, he showed his affection by "hugging" our legs.
Bearhug became synonymous with a very sweet, special pup.
